Campbell, a native of Whitby, Ont., carried the offensive load for the Golden Hawks in their 22-18 loss to the Windsor Lancers on Homecoming weekend. The fifth year kinesiology and physical education major recorded his second 100-plus yard rushing game of the season as he finished the contest with 118 yards on 20 carries. Campbell now ranks fifth in the conference in rushing yards with 375 through four games this season.

The second year health sciences major had four total tackles on the afternoon but the highlight came early in the fourth quarter when Onyeka recorded his first career sack when he took down Lancers quarterback Liam Putt for an eight yard loss. Onyeka now has 11.5 tackles on the season, good for a tie for fifth on the team.
As for Mesher, the Waterloo, Ont., native continued his fantastic rookie season in Saturday’s loss to the Windsor Lancers. The first year business major was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goal attempts, including hitting a career-long 47 yarder early in the third quarter. He also averaged over 41 yards per punt, nearly eight yards per punt above his season average entering the game. Following his performance, Mesher moved into a tie for second in the conference for both field goal percentage (90 percent) and field goals made (nine).
