Laurier football weekly update

Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

Let’s start this week’s newsletter with a big #BellLetsTalk. Definitely an important topic all 365 days of the year, but today is a great reminder for everyone.

Our players are reminded today and every day that even though they are seen by many as macho, tough, fierce football players that they too can communicate with anyone in the program about their feelings and what they personally are going through. No one is alone and our open door policy to chat applies every day, all year!

Our indoor practices are going really well and we have quickly used up three of the 20 allowed. Practice #1 definitely looked like the first practice of the year, but the last two have had an energy and an enthusiasm much like the middle of the season.

We have more depth at every single position this off-season and everyone is focused on not letting anyone else outwork them. Practice four will be this Friday at RIM Park from 3-5pm and everyone is welcome to stop by to say hello and watch.
