Laurier football weekly update

20170428 - Kha Vo - Laurier Football Dinner 2017-75Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

CFL training camps are starting up across the country and our three new draftees are eager to get started.

Linebacker Nakas Onyeka and the Toronto Argonauts started rookie camp opened Wednesday, May 24th at York University, defensive end Kwaku Boateng and the Edmonton Eskimos do not have rookie camp, but his main training camp starts Sunday, May 28th and offensive lineman Brett Golding and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats start rookie camp began Thursday, May 25th.

Quarterback Michael Knevel is taking advantage of the CFL QB Internship Program and has accepted an invite to be at the Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp. This experience will allow Michael to take part in training camp just like any other player (meetings, meals, practices, etc.) and, at the end, he simply returns to us here at Laurier. This will be a great experience and opportunity for him.
