Are you ready for some football Saturday night?
The bye week has come and gone and now we are fully immersed in Carleton Ravens preparations. This Orientation Week game is a 7:00pm kickoff and we would love to play in front of a packed stadium. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
Carleton is a very high-quality opponent and will be a stiff challenge for us. They are currently sitting at 1-1, with a win over Queen’s 22-17 in Week 1 and a loss to McMaster 23-9 this past weekend.
On offense, they are breaking in a new quarterback but he has some very talented weapons to utilize in receivers Dexter Brown and Kyle VanWynsberghe.
On the ground, they have a very big offensive line opening holes for dangerous running backs Jayde Rowe and Nathan Carter.
On defense, they would be characterized as fast. Veteran linebacker Leon Cenerini is always a handful and the Ravens’ top defender is defensive lineman Kene Onyeka (our very own Godfrey Onyeka’s brother). Kene has already tallied four sacks and numerous tackles on the year.
A full Carleton game recap will be provided in next week’s newsletter and also a look ahead to the following week’s game in Kingston against the Queen’s Gaels.
