Laurier football weekly update

IMPG8451Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

This will be the last newsletter of 2017 and it has been another solid year for our Laurier Football Program.

Did we meet all of our team goals? No. We would have loved to repeat as Yates Cup champions and we would have wanted an opportunity to play for a Vanier Cup.

The reality is that only one out of the 27 USports football teams should be truly happy at the end of the year. We can, however, step back and appreciate that our program is talked about on the national stage as one of very few that has a real shot each and every year at a conference title and playing for a national championship.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have conducted exit meetings with every player – and everyone is motivated to finish up the exam season strong, rest up over the holidays and come back on January 3rd energized and ready to make 2018 a great year for our program.

Thank you for your support! Whether you come to the games, give financially to this program, or you simply read this newsletter, we appreciate your dedication and the fact that you continue to believe it what we are doing. We have confidence that 2018 will be a great year for our Laurier Golden Hawks Football program.

Here’s what is happening:
