Laurier football weekly update

20180202 - Kha Vo - Laurier Football 2018_-91Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

We were back inside at RIM Park for practice #5. We are now officially a quarter of the way through our off-season practices and we have definitely come a long way.

Individually, you can see the work ethic of each player in the weight room really paying off. Everyone looks stronger and more explosive.

As units (offence, defence and special teams), the off-season is great because the graduates are gone and you really use this time to build team chemistry with the players that are working towards starting roles for the first time.

Altogether, we are on a great trajectory and everyone is constantly reminded that the games this fall are really decided this time of year with our work ethic. VIEW PHOTOS

For week #5, the Hard Hat Award went to fourth-year receiver Brendan McCracken. Brendan is literally the first in the weight room every morning at 5:30am. He is not only one of our hardest workers, but he is a great teammate and has a huge role in our offence.
