Laurier football update

Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

August is here! This means that we don’t have to wait much longer for the football season. Our whole team (coaches, players and staff) will report to training camp on Thursday, August 9th. We will very quickly dive right into a schedule that will see the team waking up at 6:30am and not returning to their rooms until about 9:30pm. The days will be filled with practices, meetings, therapy, meals, workouts and more.

After a week of that tiring regimen, we will load up the buses for Montreal where we will play a pre-season game against the McGill Redman on Friday, August 17th at 6:30pm.

Upon returning from McGill, we will have more than a week to prepare for our week #1 opponent, the Ottawa Gee-Gees – who we host on Sunday, August 26th at 1pm at University Stadium.

We would love to see big crowds this year. You will watch a highly competitive team and witness outstanding performances by many future professional athletes. Get your season tickets here and see home games against the Ottawa Gee-Gees, Waterloo Warriors, Guelph Gryphons (Homecoming) and Windsor Lancers.
