Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,
This newsletter is brought to you by our great friends and the best movers, AMJ Campbell.
The season is over, but the work never stops for our Laurier Football players, coaches, and staff. Over the last several weeks our players have been able to get caught back up on their schoolwork, they’ve been going to the gym more and more, and we have still continued to practice every Tuesday evening for the last four weeks. These extra practices are a great opportunity for many of our young players who were on scout teams all year to run our Laurier Football offensive and defensive systems.
We now shift gears and really focus on the weight room. This upcoming week we will be starting the offseason with testing. This will allow us to get baseline test numbers on all our players and we will be able to track their progress throughout the offseason. The tests we are using will give us numbers for strength, power, flexibility, speed, agility, and conditioning.
