David has been actively engaged in scouting & recruiting for WLU since 2011. His primary focus has been in the GTA. He started coaching football in Mississauga in the mid 1990s and was the offensive coordinator of high school teams that won championships at the junior and senior level at St. Francis Xavier where he coached numerous players who went on to have very successful USports and NCAA careers such as Cory Fernandes (Windsor), Chris Greaves (Western), and Rob Pavlovic (South Carolina). His proudest football achievement was being part of the 2016 Yates Cup championship team which prominently featured a running back from his own high school (Dre Gordon) who went on to become a 1st team USports Allstar and the 2nd leading rusher in WLU history.
For the past 7 years, David has also been a member of the OFSAA Bowl Championship Committee that has organized the annual high school championships that occur each November. David is an accomplished economics instructor in the world renowned and highly prestigious International Baccalaureate program. His students annually finish in the top 10% globally, and twice his class has had the highest average in the world.
Currently, David resides in Georgetown and he is the proud father of Kiley, a student at the University of Waterloo.
