Jennifer Martins has been the Head Football Athletic Therapist at Wilfrid Laurier University since 2014. She has also for the past three summers been the Athletic Therapist for the Canadian Men’s National Volleyball team.
Prior to becoming the Athletic Therapist at Laurier, Jennifer was an assistant Athletic Trainer at the University at Buffalo for the football team from 2009-2012. She also received her Master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo.
She completed a summer internship with the Toronto Argonauts in 2009 as well as worked with the Team Doctor for the Buffalo Bills & Buffalo Sabres in 2010. She graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY with her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training after playing Division I volleyball on scholarship in the United States.
