Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

We are saddened by the news of the passing of Laurier football alum and former Waterloo Warriors Head Coach Chris Triantafilou. Chris was such a big part of football in the Kitchener-Waterloo community for so many years, both as a player and a coach.

Chris’s story and visitation details can be found here.

Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

Last Saturday we simply didn’t accomplish what we set out to do. We are now right in the middle of the OUA standings at 2-2 after a 21-20 loss to McMaster. We will look to rebound this weekend at our Homecoming game against the 2-3 Guelph Gryphons Saturday at 1pm at University Stadium.

Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

The Battle of Waterloo was certainly a four quarter battle and the down-the-street rivals came out victorious 34-32.

The Battle of Waterloo is here! Please come out and cheer us on Saturday at 1pm as we take on the Waterloo Warriors at University Stadium. It is going to be a perfect 27 degrees and sunny, thundersticks will be handed out to the first 500 fans, it is autograph day after the game and we will have the Kids Club up and running.

Golden Hawk alumni & friends of the football program,

Thank you to all that braved a humidex of 38 degrees and attended the season opener last Sunday afternoon as we took on the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Your support helped guide us to a 39-21 victory, which is a great way to start the year versus a quality opponent.
