Zach Scotto – Offensive Line Coach

Zach Scotto is entering his third season as a member of Laurier’s coaching staff as Coach Daymond’s Assistant Offensive Line Coach. 

A young member on staff, Zach is involved in a multitude of ways, including film analysis, technical coaching, running scout team, and being part of the play-calling process on game days. 

Zach is also entering his third season with the varsity Cambridge Lions of the OPFL. In the 2018 season, Zach will be taking up the role of Recruiting Co-ordinator, Run Game Co-ordinator, and the Offensive Line Coach with the Lions. 

During his time with the varsity Lions, Zach was the Offensive Line Coach on the 2016 OVFL Champion team. He has also produced a number of Offensive Linemen who have gone on to begin their careers in USports, including Laurier’s Bryce Bell and Alex Pigozzo. 

In addition to his coaching roles with the Golden Hawks and Lions, Zach was a member of Laurier’s Football Team from 2011-2014. 

Prior to beginning his days at Laurier as a player, Zach represented Western Ontario on two occasions at the Canada Cup and played for Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin. 

Outside of coaching, Zach is entering his second and final year of the Bachelor of Education program at Laurier.
